Revenue Code 100 Changes

Date: 01/10/2017

Dear Cenpatico Provider:

Thank you for your continued participation in our Florida behavioral health provider network.

In response to the  billing changes communicated by the state of Florida Agency for Health Care Administration, effective 11/1/2016, Cenpatico will no longer accept revenue code 100 for Mixed Model Plan (MMP) for Crisis Stabilization. In order for reimbursement to be considered, you will need to bill with revenue code 129 instead of revenue code 100 for Crisis Stabilization. Revenue code 129 can be used for youths and adults. In the event you experience denied claims due to the changes, please resubmit a corrected claim with the appropriate revenue code for payment reconsideration.

Healthy Kids contracts that are attached to the MMP fee schedule will not be not impacted.  Healthy Kids contracts may continue to use revenue codes 100, 1001 and 1002.

Should you have any questions regarding this matter, please contact Leslie Kille at 813-286-6891

Sincerely,

Christopher Soileau
