Outpatient Provider Notification: Update for Face-to-Face Interpretation Services

Dear Participating Provider:

We are updating our policy for securing a face-to-face interpreter for member appointments.

The following changes are being made for Face-To-Face Interpretation (F2F):
- Face-to-face interpretation will be approved for initial assessments and initial consultations.
- All other appointment types will be approved for over-the-phone (OPI) interpretation.

Appropriate places of service for these appointments are determined based on provider type.

Effective 8/7/2017, the following process will be required to secure an interpreter:
- Go to https://www.cenpatico.com/providers/in/provider-tools/interpreter-request-form.html
- Completely fill out Interpreter Request Form, for both F2F and OPI.
- Once an interpreter is secured, confirmation will be sent via email.
