Quality & Accreditation
Quality Improvement is woven through every fiber of our company and has led to many successes and achievements. Our commitment to quality, innovation and teamwork is evidenced by the fact that our CEO and COO co-chair our Quality Improvement Committee. They continually monitor the efficacy and efficiency of our operations through the quality lens and waste no time making swift changes to ensure optimum performance.
Our committees are also peer-supported with committees and workgroups comprised of our network providers. That kind of accountability and transparency is essential to ensuring our clinical and quality processes and procedures do not overly burden the provider.
Through strong partnerships with our providers, health plans, state agencies and school districts - we have been successful in meeting the needs of our members. One tangible indicator of successful quality initiatives is our back-to-back URAC accreditation.
Accreditation is a process by which an impartial organization (such as URAC or NCQA) review a company’s operations to ensure that the company is conducting business in a manner consistent with national standards. This demonstrates our organization’s commitment to quality service and quality outcomes. Our programs and services are designed to follow the URAC and National Committee of Quality Assurance (NCQA) accreditation guidelines.
In 2008 Cenpatico was once again awarded a full URAC Health Plan Accreditation through January 2011, and we are currently in preparation for our first NCQA Survey scheduled for mid 2010.
